Benefits
This program is designed to give the beginning, intermediate, and advanced language
learners a unique and in-depth Spanish/French immersion experience as they work in teams
based on their Spanish/French proficiency level. They will practice and learn skills across the
academic curriculum. They will be listening, speaking, and learning Spanish/French at all times
as they explore:
4 Science/Electricity: by learning about fascinating animals such as: snakes,
frogs, bearded dragons,leopard geckos, tarantulas, etc., and by installing
electricity in the houses they build.
4 Nature: by learning about leaves & trees.
4 Athletics: by participating in organized sports such as: basketball, baseball,
soccer, softball, kickball, swimming, etc
Field Trips
Campers will go to Fort Harrison State Park, learn about leaves, trees, skins, skulls,
spiders, and many other interesting animals and topics. They will also go fishing,
horseback riding, swimming, creek stomping, etc.
